Bienestar organisation, working towards welfare of children, has organized at Rohini, Delhi, a drawing competition on 16.11.2014 on the occasion of children day in which various topics like pollution, save environment, green delhi clear delhi, save energy save electricity etc. were given. Free drawing classes were also organized for the same. There were around 150 children participated in the competition and around 30 children were given 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in different categories of age groups and all other participants were given consolation prizes as participation gift. There were some down trodden children who were given free books, colours, pen, pencils also.
Mrs. Sangita Talwar, founder of organisation and her team of volunteers initiated the programme by welcoming hon’ble judges and guests. Then a pledge of swatchata was taken by children and all other people who were part of the programme. Mrs. Talwar emphasised the need of swatchata and announced that every week a day will be fixed for cleaning the streets and spreading awareness among the people for cleaning not only their houses but also outside their houses which will start from 6th December, 2014. She also told the importance of children day to the children. Children not only enjoyed the programme by expressing their different thoughts on the canvass but also took a firm pledge of swatchata. The progamme ended with a vote of thanks to all people who made it a grand success.
