Demanding the NRC for Delhi BJP Delhi President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that the NRC is very necessary to fight against terrorism. He said that he will submit a report of ground reality of Delhi to the Home Minister Shri Amit Shah on the issue of NRC.
Shri Tiwari said that our intention is not to harass anyone by demanding NRC in Delhi. Even in Assam 41 lakh people did not have required documents at the time of preparation of draft NRC but they were given ample time to submit documents. After the time limit 19 lakh people could not give the proof of Indian Citizenship. These people are not being harassed by anyone. It is the policy of our country that the persons of foreign origin should go back to the native country and hence the people who have not given proof of citizenship will have to go back to their native country.
Shri Tiwari said that the people of foreign origin are illegally living on large scale in Delhi. They have grabbed public lands & are also danger to the internal security of country. NRC will be very effective in fighting terrorism because the infiltrators pose danger to the security of the country. NCR will also be effective in checking the the Rohingias infiltrators in Delhi. The illegal infiltrators not only pose danger to our internal security but they are also exploiting the resources of Delhi. After the preparation of NRC Delhi will change for the better & the people will get basic amenities of high standard. Rising above party politics all the political parties should unite on the issue of NRC because it is the question of internal & economic security.
