DWARKA FORUM meeting was held with Divisional Heads (Dwarka and Palam Divisions), BSES Rajdhani Power Limited on 17th November, 2021 at BSES Office, Sector-6 Dwarka, New Delhi.
On behalf of BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd : (1) Shri Ajit Singh Kadian – Divisional Head (O&M), Dwarka, (2) Shri Nagendra Shekhar – Divisional Head (O&M) Palam, (3) Shri S. K. Dagar – Head (West) Street Lights, (4) Shri Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Divisional Head (Business) Dwarka, (5) Shri Ajay Malhotra, Divisional Head (Business), Palam (5) Shri Rajeev Kumar, As VP (Execution) Palam, (6) Shri P. K. Vishwakarma, SDO (O&M) and other officials of Dwarka and Palam Divisions attended meeting.
Dwarka Forum (DF) handed over a Letter to Divisional Heads, BSES on various issues of Dwarka Sub-City pertaining to BSES Rajdhani Power Limited.
Dwarka Forum shared the feedback received from Dwarka residents and discussed several issues ranging from operation and maintenance of Street Lights, repair of faulty timers of street lights, replacement of rusted and broken street light poles, removal of unused/ broken street light poles lying on roadside pavements etc.
The matter regarding DARK SPOT areas of Dwarka Sub City was discussed in details. We requested for installation of street light poles on all such roads, where street light poles are not installed so far.
Regarding some issues of street lights poles, pertaining to other civic agencies e.g. DDA, SDMC etc. will also be shared to them by BSES.
DF requested for suitable action on removal of cables/wires tied on Street light poles by private cable operators/ private internet companies etc.
Dwarka Forum also discussed the problem of water logging below the low lying feeder pillars and requested for proper repairing of platforms of all such feeder pillars.
DF also requested for replacement of broken and rusted feeder pillars with internal fittings etc.
DF brought to their notice about power thefts in some areas of sub city through street light poles.
Dwarka Forum also discussed Roof Top SOLAR System procedures and implementation in Dwarka sub city.
DF also discussed the un-announced power cuts, hanging of power cables from one pole to another pole etc.
During the meeting, it was decided that Governing Body members of Dwarka Forum in association with BSES, DDA (Horticulture) and Traffic Police will conduct the JOINT SURVEY of Dwarka Sub City to find out Dark spots areas and street lights/traffic signals covered with branches of trees etc.
It was also decied that Dwarka Forum will arrange a combined meeting with DDA (Electrical) and BSES Officials to sort out the common issues.
The meeting was conducted in a very good atmosphere.
Divisional Heads and other senior officials of BSES attended the meeting, took a note of all the points that emanated from the discussions and assured to take all possible steps on the issues discussed and to make citizens life more comfortable.
The meeting was attended by Shri A. S. Chhatwal – General Secretary, Shri P. Menon – Treasurer with Executive Members : Shri H. M. Singh, Mrs Kamlesh Bajaj, Shri Surjit Singh and Shri Ravi Jaitly on behalf of Dwarka Forum.
