Dwarka Hello Moms celebrated the Mother’s Day

Dwarka Hello Moms and Maruti True Value recently celebrated the Mother’s Day programme at Beverly Park Society Dwarka . The women entrepreneurs had set up variety of stalls ranging from VLCC who were giving DHM special discounted haircuts , Herbal Life and Oriflame. Maruti True Value also mentioned about their latest cars in market which were also duly displayed there. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. PK Chhonker, President of the society and his team at 1.00pm followed by drawing and painting competition by young children. In the evening, cultural program was held where girls from Dwarka Hello Moms performed Haryanvi dance and students of the Government school sector 23 presented a spectacular folk dance .The highlight of the evening was the beautifully choreographed fashion show by the women and young children of DGS society. VLCC manager, Ms. Bhavna Gupta gave away the prizes to the women and children for participating in the fashion show.

The chief guest Mrs. Joyshree Mukherjee, Director Sanchetna & smart educational skills and the guest of honor Ms. Sudha Sinha General Secretary Federation of CGHS graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. Mrs. Joyshree Mukherjee was quite impressed with the work done by Dwarka Hello Moms for the underprivileged and poor people of Pochanpur area and was happy to see the talents of the members and work put up by the people. She advised all the women and children to come forward and make best use of the free courses available for them. Ms. Sudha Sinha in her speech mentioned that she was very much impressed by the talents of the students of govt school and assured to help them monetarily and also assured Dwarka Hello Moms for any help required towards the development of the organization.
Mrs. Rajalakshmi Kurup, President of Dwarka Hello Moms in her speech said that since last two years courses have been offered at the centre absolutely free to the women candidates of the area like tailoring , art and craft beautician and computer classes, many women and children of the nearby area have been benefitted by it. She also mentioned that this year with the cooperation of Maruti True Value, free driving training has been given to the women candidates and certificates were duly given to these candidates by their manager Ms. Gurpreet .The teachers of DHM were also given prizes for their contribution toward the development of the NGO by Dr. Sanjiv Marwah and Lt.Col.(retd) Brahm Sharma. Dwarka Hello Moms also welcomed two new members who joined the team of women – Dr. Sanjiv Marwah, Director JK Business School as Technical Adviser and Lt. Col.(retd) Brahm Sharma an innumerable award winner who joined as a Patron. Mrs. Raji Kurup also announced that Dwarka Hello Moms in association with Anudip Foundation will help the students who have completed their twelfth standard this year or earlier above 18 years and below thirty years of age into skilled development training for three months where they will be taught computer hard and software, personality development and English speaking so that after completing these courses, they can be absorbed in jobs. Depending upon their merit, qualified students can look forward to a starting salary of Rupees ten thousand atleast. More they are smarter, the better they get. To fulfill our dream of making a poverty free educated community or country, we need good support from people who can come forward and dedicate their valuable time in our venture to eradicate poverty.

The evening ended up with the beautiful songs of Legend Mukesh, rendered by Singer Mr. Pradeep Sharma Parashar, who left the guest mesmerised. Overall it was a wonderful evening enjoyed by the houseful guests and members.
