It is said that health is the greatest of all human blessings. It is to realize the dream of our founder Shri N K Bagrodia Ji, of a healthy organization, that on the occasion of Founder’s Day a free health check up camp for the entire staff of the school was organized during the school hours. A team from Akash Health Care which included Dr Indra Kasturia ( Physician). Dr Shitij Luthra ( Dentist) Ms Nitika Gupta ( Audiologist) Mr Rajesh Kumar ( Deputy Manager – Marketing) and R Kukreti ( Head – Business Development) visited the school to conduct tests and advice remedies to general ailments. The facilities which were provided by the team of doctors included tests of Lipid Profile, Thyroid Profile, Haemoglobin, Uric Acid, ECG, Blood Pressure Checkup, Blood Sugar test, Dental Check up, BMD, BMI, Neuropathy Detection Test, Hearing Test and Speech Therapy consultation. Medicine samples were also distributed on this occasion.
Dr Inder Kasturia (Physician) also apprised the students of classes I to III on the significance of health and hygiene. Children were acquainted with the factors that are risks to their health and how to avoid these. Students patiently attended to the speech of the doctor and pledged to follow the health and hygiene rules for their wellbeing.
The students of class XI were acquainted with the role of Vitamin D in leading a healthy life. Students were made aware that Vitamin D plays several important roles in the body, including regulating the balance of nutrients needed for strong, healthy bones. It is also important in regulating cell growth, neuromuscular and immune function, and reduction of inflammation.

Prevention is better than cure. A dental check up of students of class XI was also held wherein teeth were checked for decay, faulty fillings, cracks and wear. Gums were checked to ensure that they are healthy for bleeding gums are signs of gum disease.
