Heartiest Congratulations to all the Class X students – Indraprastha International School

Class X Students Shine at Indraprastha!
Indraprastha International School today is synonymous with quality education and transforming the children to be the promising future of the nation. It imparts an education which equips students with life skills and transforms them into well-rounded personalities. Applauding the achievements of the students, Dr. Rajesh Hassija, the Director of the Indraprastha Group of Schools said, “The magic mantra at Indraprastha is to strive for excellence, seek new vistas, set up new goals and face new challenges”, and wished the students success for their future goals. Keeping up the school motto-“Teach each child, Develop whole child”, the students of Indraprastha International School brought laurels to the school after they showed a remarkable performance in class X board examinations. It was a red-letter day for the school, when everyone waited with pounding hearts for the result. “Our joy knew no bounds when we learned that 18 students of Class X had scored a CGPA of perfect 10,” said the Headmistress. Congratulations to the achievers!

Out of a total of 105 students, 90 percent of the students got a CGPA of 8 and above. Indeed, the result was commendable with the majority of the students passing with flying colours. Indraprastha students envisage and achieve goals that unite them in the pursuit of objectives worthy of their best efforts. Their commitment is reflected not so much in words as in attitude and actions. The students of Indraprastha have not only proved their mettle in academics but also in the co-curricular activities. Pooja Iyer of Class X participated in the debate competition on “Intellectual Property Rights’ and ‘Plagiarism’, organised by FICCI and was gloriously declared the winner amongst a number of participants from more than 20 esteemed schools of Delhi and NCR. She also participated in Nupur Utsav, the annual Interschool competition of Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura along with Anisha Belur of class X to bag the Second Prize in story building and dramatization. That is not all; Rhea Ralhan, Rahul Khurana and Pulkit Kalra of class X won the First Prize in a dance competition. Whether it is a literary activity, theatre, art or dance, Class X students have participated and won accolades. Kevin Yadav, Harshit and Sajal won the Second Prize in Madhurya – the Rock Band Competition. At the Air Force School, our students Shruti Kalra and Raaghav Sharma won the Second Position in the Innovative Investigation Competition. The winning streak in Indraprastha students is remarkable as they are able to strike a perfect balance between academics and co-curricular activities. The introduction of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system has given an impetus to the performance of the students, boosting their confidence and self esteem.
