Saplings of unity and hope planted to honor Nepal’s resilience and shared progress with India
Hetauda, Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025: On the eve of Nepal’s National Mourning Day, Hetauda Academy turned solemn remembrance into a gesture of hope by organizing a symbolic tree plantation on its campus. The initiative not only paid tribute to the nation but also highlighted the enduring friendship between India and Nepal, where education and cultural collaboration continue to nurture peace and prosperity.
Principal Archana Upreti, Administrator Suman Acharya, School Coordinator Puspa Raj Parag, Primary Wing In-charge Sabitri Poudel, Librarian Nagina Lama, and faculty member Laxmi Ghimire joined hands with Guest Teacher Prof. S.S. Dogra from Delhi, India, along with students Chandan Giri, Aahil Ali, and Ashwat Adhikari in planting saplings. The Academy underlined that each planted tree stands as a living symbol of unity, sustainability, and shared dreams—reflecting Nepal’s aspirations for development and the vital role of India–Nepal ties in shaping a brighter future.
