Investiture Ceremony held at The Indian Heights School

Investiture ceremony was held with great enthusiasm on July 8, 2017 at The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. The deserving young leaders were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with commitment and dedication. Maj Gen GJS Grewal presided over the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chairperson, Mrs. Madhu Gupta, The Manager, Mr. Puneet Gupta and Principal Mrs. Archana Narain graced the occasion with their benign presence. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome song. The office bearers marched into the auditorium holding candles signifying the and bright future. They were conferred with badges and sashes by Honourable Chief Guest as they marched to the stage with promises in their eyes. Maj Gen. GJS Grewal in his speech emphasised the importance of discipline and urged the students to keep their head high and shape their own destiny.The Principal administered the oath to the office bearers. She urged the newly elected council members to take up their responsibility with commitment and integrity and become an inspirational leader. The whole ceremony was witnessed by the teachers, students and the proud parents of the elected members of the Student Council. The Vice Head Girl proposed the Vote of thanks and the programme concluded with the national anthem.
