Investiture Ceremony held at JMIS


A stronger mast will enable a ship pass through the hurricane. So does student council, it let students lead a meaningful student life by making them firm and disciplined.

The Prefectural Investiture Ceremony, witnessed the newly invested JMIS student council of session 2014-2015 all set to direct their fellow students by their leadership qualities hence making the maxim true that leaders are made by continuous self study, evaluation and imbibing positive things as reflected by them in brief interaction on “ Leaders are born or made?”

The ceremony initiated with the song ‘Satymev Jayate’ by rhythmic choir group, followed by inspiring video on the theme leadership hence setting the mood of the hour. The core ceremony was the most awaited as the elected members felt not only proud of the badges but also of their achievements in their recent past which were being mention by power point presentation.


Principal Ms Anuradha Govind administered the oath and urged the students to shoulder the responsibilities & be exemplary in their demeanour. Mr Yogesh Gupta, Director Jmis, motivated the students to shine throughout the life by following the three D’s: Discipline, Decorum, and Dedication.

Donning the mantle of responsibility, the new Council members, esp. Head Boy Abhishek Chaudhary (XII) & Head Girl, Kanica Goel, looked radiant and confident, pledged to uphold the values of the school, abide by the rules and regulations of the school and keep the JMIS flag flying high.
