It was a great experience.Around 600 delegates from all parts of Delhi representing RWA attended the convention.Apart from CIC other degnitories, Arti Mehra, Bijender Gupta, Jai Praksh Aggrawal, Joginder Singh and Jagdish Mukhi also addressed the Gathering. In question answer session many questions were thrown.I am also happy that many question were also put up by members from Dwarka. Rejimon specific question about night sweeping by MCD,Attendence of MCD employee by electronic machine. Rawatji from Sector-13 also raised issue of duct bin and poor maintenance. Anil Nayal and B.N.Pal from sector-17 also raised the same issue. Bijender Gupta, Chairman standing Committee, MCD replied that for night sweeping it has been started from Rohini and within next two-three months the will implement in other parts of Delhi.Arti Mehra, Mayor stated that theat electronic punching Machine has been installed in Town Hall and she will try to implement it in entire office of MCD in her tenure.Myself also raised demand to authorised RWA to take attendance of MCD people and Councillor must be accountable for RWA as it is done in Gram Panchayat in rural area. In principle they agree and Mayor ensured that this is being worked out to implement. I also requested Mr.Jagdish Mukhi to include in the election manifesto that the RWA will be authorised for such work if his party comes into Power. He requested URJA Chief to send a proposal and assured due consideration.
As Rejimon has already pointed about the pendency of RTI and the attitude of ROS towards RTI.CIC also said that the pendency will taken care as three more commissioner has joined him for disposal of pending Cases.
Shri Joginder Singh expressed his concerned about the security of the city and urged RWA not to depend upon Govt.only but try to conrol it at their own end.
Friends many of us may say assurance is assurance but believe me if we are able to put pressure from all the possible platform time will come where we can achieve our goal.
Finally big thanks to Rejimonji, Anilji, Bishtji, Jhaji and many others for their valuable time and input. Total attendance from Dwarka Region were 23.
