N.K Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka was presented with ‘Ecofriendly school of the year award’ on the occasion of the world environment day on 5th June’ 2013 organized by Indian Institute of Ecology which was held at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. This award was presented by Dr. P.R Trivedi ( Chancellor and plenipotentiary of the Global open university Nagaland and Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical sciences university Arunanchal Pradesh) along with Professor R.K Khandel ( Vice chancellor of Gautam Budddh Technical University, Lucknow) along with Minister of Iran in the presence of various other national and international dignitaries. The award was received by Dr. (Ms) Rajee. N. Kumar, the Principal along with her team of teachers and students who are also the members of the ECO CLUB of the school.

A World environment congress was also held during the occasion of World environment day and the theme of the congress was ‘Think, eat, save’ and the importance of judicious use of the food and water resources are available thereby ensuring the provisions of these resources to everybody in the world was emphasized . The need of saving the natural resources by ensuring their optimum usage and reducing pollution to save our mother earth and to make it a better place to live was advocated by all the diplomats and dignitaries during the meet . The meeting was culminated with the release of important publications and souvenirs presentation of various awards, the announcements of recommendations and resolutions regarding the master plan paradigm for 2013-14, for saving our mother earth by a group of distinguished social entrepreneurs was done.
