PAHAL Celebrated Musical Evening

In today’s competitive world, being philanthropic is like having a heart of gold. In its commitment towards upliftment of underprivileged, Pahal organised a Musical Evening on 20th Sept 2014 in CCRT, Dwarka, New Delhi. It was a proud moment to watch the performance of Children from ‘Pahal School for Slum Children’. The children were beaming with happiness and excitement. Dimple Gour gave an insight on the working of PAHAL School. Underprivileged children are given free education and food there.

Children from a Nazafgarh based orphanage Rashmi Seva Niketan were well prepared for their dance performances. PAHAL Social Organization has been supporting Rashmi Seva Niketan a regular basis since three years.Artists from Melody Foundation enthralled everyone with old melodious numbers including Ganesh vandana. People were left spell bound by Pradeep Kumar, a well-known professional singer. Audience enjoyed gazals sung by Bengali singer Chaitali Das. Malay Chakraborty , President PAHAL Social Organization spoke about the need and joy of giving back to the society in whichever way one can. He urged people to understand the concept of helping others.


The function opened by Joginder Singh, Ex-CBI Director, with lighting the lamp along with Malay Chakraborty , President PAHAL , Madhumita Biswas, Melody Foundation and Mukesh Sinha, Dwarka City. Programme was attended by Amit Aggarwal, ACP South west Dwarka and Anil Kumar Parashar, NHRC. Stage was managed by PAHAL members Anjali Parashar Nandi and Radhika Rangarajan. In the end ChamanLal, Secretary, PAHAL thanked everyone for taking time out of busy schedule and attending the programme.
