Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Assessment & Collection Department, (Najafgarh Zone) organised a Property Tax Collection Camp in association with Resident Welfare Association (Regd.), Block-A, Sector 8, Dwarka, New Delhi -110977 on Saturday, the 22nd June, 2024 at Dr Kaushal’s Clinic, A-270, Sector-8, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077 .
The camp featured the following sessions: (i) Deposit of Property Tax;
(ii) Training for Geo-tagging of properties; and (iii) Awareness about Sahbhagita Scheme of MCD.
MCD team led by Shri Ajay Kumar, Joint Assessor and Collector (Najafgarh Zone), Shri C.S. Kakkar, Assistant Assessor & Collector, Shri Ajay Yadav, AZI with Shri A. S. Chhatwal, Sahbhagita Ambassador were warmly welcomed by the RWA Office bearers : Shri Ram Chander-President, Shri Ravinder Kumar Goyal – Vice President , Shri Kunver Singh-Secretary, Shri Avnesh Kumar Gupta- Treasurer and Dr (Col) Sanjay Kaushal.
Shri Ajay Kumar shared details of the process and benefits related to timely payment of Property Tax and appealed the residents for Geo Tagging of their properties in the stipulated time frame.
Shri C.S. Kakkar explained the procedure of Self Geo-tagging of property. Shri A. S. Chhatwal briefed the attendees about Sahbhagita Scheme and its benefits. He also explained the details of 10% Tax incentive to the registered RWAs and Cooperative Group Housing Societies on 90% compliance under Sahbhagita Scheme.
Large number of residents of Sector-8, Dwarka, Bagdola and other neighbouring areas attended the camp. The Question-Answer session was very lively and all the queries were professionally replied by the MCD Officials.
The attendees were happy to have MCD team at door step and appreciated its positive approach towards property tax payers. Dr (Col) Sanjay Kaushal, on behalf of the RWA: Block-A thanked MCD Officials and Sahbhagita Ambassador for their support, guidance and participation in the camp.
