Ramesh Sippy, loved the mountains of doon, says here is the future of the film industry

Dehradun, 21st Sept,2018: The three day Launch of 4th Dehradun International Film Festival with full enthusiasm.
-Cabinet ministers Madan Kaushik, Ramesh Sippy, Kiran Juneja, Vivek Vaswani, Rajendra Gupta, Khyali, Surender Pal, Hemant Panday graced the inauguration ceremony.

Sagar Kinare Dil Ye Pukar … When this song went on the big screen of silver City, all the spectators delighted to watch the memories of that decade fresh. The 4th Film Festival has a grand beginning, Costa Rica was screened in the morning session, in which Indian Spanish actor Prabhakar Sharan was present in the main form.

The program inaugurated by Cabinet Minister of Uttrakhand- Madan Kaushik. He said that such events in Uttarakhand especially in Dehradun, are very much needed today. Not only this, the film talent of Uttarakhand gets a platform, while for the talent here, the streets of the city are also open.

Producer director Ramesh Sippy said on this occasion that the talent of the people of Uttarakhand is not only of Dehradun but it is full of talent. Uttarakhand has given the film industry more than one star, singer etc. Dehradun is not a new name in the film industry, which nobody knows. From Archana Puran Singh, Himani Shivpuri to today, Urvashi Routela and Neha Kakad are some such names that have made their name bright and also the name of Uttarakhand and Dehradun. After the inauguration, screening of the 80’s superhit film Sagar was also performed in Silver City. That was a unique experience for the people. On this occasion, the organizer Rajesh Sharma said that this is the 4th Edition of the festival and it is very special for all, because this time the people of Dawood got the opportunity to meet & interacting with famous producer director Ramesh Sippy. He said that today all the stars would hold workshop with students at the Tujaj Institute. In the Silver City, many of Uttarakhand’s films are being screened.

On the first day of the festival, the following films were screened, La Confuusion, Prices, Velvet, RIP Hiremanyati, Ragini, Five Years, Ten Minutes, Lori The Light, Seven Minutes, Graeme, Marvic, Numant, Clean India, Pledge Self, Commitment, Ruffar Jingdi, Petals, The Lost Childhood, Tiger My Dear, Death Anniversary, Real Hero of Uttarakhand, Biscuit, Star in Doon, Chumah, Different not wrong. All the directors & producers also shared their experiences with the audience present in the auditorium.
