With the view of paying a splendid homage to the martyrs of India, Sachdeva Global School celebrated the glorious occasion of 72nd Independence Day on 10th Aug, 2108. The program began with welcoming the revered dignitaries of the school management followed by the flag hoisting ceremony and an inspirational speech by the Chairman, Shri S.K. Sachdeva.
The function was a combined effort of the entire fraternity of Globalites which aimed at spreading the message of the sacrifices of the Warriors. The cultural extravaganza began with an orchestral tribute with the mesmerizing tunes of Ae Watan and Rise India Rise. The pathos of the Indian soldiers and leaders was beautifully exhibited through a spell bounding Mime Act which left the audience awe-struck.
The synchronized dance performance on the fusion of semi classical music and the western beats on the tunes of Namaste India was a true display of the unity and strength overpowering the entire country. The memorable moment of releasing the balloons by the chief guests marked the closing of the ceremony with the singing of National Anthem.
