The only thing stopping you from reaching your goals and dreams are your boundaries. It’s when you meet your limits that you feel resistance and things you want seem harder to achieve. Whether it is fear, doubt, physical abilities or some other mental block, it can present a huge barrier to getting what you want. consistent, steady performance, but by stepping out of it into a new and challenging task you can reach your optimal performance. If we take a minute and think about it, it is quite true that we achieve the most by stepping out of our safe bubbles.
Anyone who has ever tried to reach the next level, or to achieve something knows that when you really challenge yourself, you can obtain amazing results.

People don’t excel in life because they are too afraid of taking the necessary steps to achieve their dreams. Some manifest fear as a safeguard from failure; others don’t even try, believing that they are restricted by their self created boundaries. Unfortunately most people can’t go beyond their boundaries and give up. So how far you get in reaching your dreams is dependent on how good you are at overcoming this obstacle. Fail to push past your limits and you’ll leave your dreams unrealized. Work through them and you can make any dream or goal a reality. In order to reach your dreams or goals, you need to push through your boundaries and past your comfort zone. There are no shortcuts. Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. That’s been my personal motto for success in life. It’s my way of reminding me to constantly push myself and not settle for average.

When you’re facing your limits and you feel that resistance, it can seem hard to overcome. But just by pushing yourself a little harder, you can really accomplish some great things. And the funny thing is that once you do, you can look back and wonder just why you ever thought it was that difficult to begin with. Don’t let your boundaries stop you from doing anything. When you take responsibility for your life, serendipitous events unfold and lead you to awaken your inherent wisdom.

At this level you must be willing to step out of your comfort zone and meet life with passion and fervour.
Here’s an all too common scenario that plays out in people’s lives, illustrating how settling sometimes can lead to apathy and comfort.

Life tosses you lemons — well at least that’s what you suspect from where you stand. You may be sick and tired of being in rut. Feeling uninspired — emotionally drained and lacking direction. Don’t despair since you may simply be experiencing an internal shift.

From time to time, you may suffer periods of uncertainty, which on the surface appears as though your world is sinking. You might feel helpless and unable to navigate your journey ahead.
Though you can’t quite put your finger on it, something isn’t quite right — you know that part at least. Life seems harder and requires more effort than usual. Everything is a chore. You feel emotional turbulence at the slightest episode when things don’t go according to plan.

Rest assured life isn’t always smooth sailing. Seeking refuge in that statement liberates us from having to push against the forces of life. I encourage you to adopt a similar quality in your pursuit to step out of your comfort zone. Do not rest on your laurels since it is easy — remember, easy is not where the fruit of your success lies.
You must be willing to take risks, whether big or small and gradually move in the direction of your dreams. Moreover, I invite you to think big and act big, to gain the greater rewards in life.

I want you to know those successful people whom you look up to, have pushed past their comfort zone in order to reach their current level of mastery.

They broke through many a glass ceiling to create a new way of life and similarly paved the way for others to follow. That is the inviting aspect of pushing past your comfort zone — you serve as a guidepost for others to follow, by breaking ground in your pursuit.
Just go Beyond the Boundaries to be an Achiever. Do Not Follow Where The Path May Lead. Go Instead Where There Is No Path And Leave A Mark.

Have you ever fantasized about writing? Or have you just fantasized more than you think is normal? If you have a tendency to drift off to fantasy land you may be a writer. One of the traits of a great story teller is the ability to fantasize vividly. Did you enjoy writing when you were young? If you enjoyed writing when you were a child, it could be a sign that you were meant to write. Children know what they like and tend to know what they will do with their life even if they cannot express it. I always liked writing. I was appreciated by my teachers during my school days because teachers were too impressed by a prose, articles and poems, I wrote.
Do you absolutely love to read? Writers read. It is just a fact of life for us. That is not to say that everyone who reads can write, but the writer is drawn to books to quench their thirst of knowledge as butterflies are drawn to flower for nectar. As I grew older, I kept writing more and more. I got myself a part time job at University while doing Ph. D. in Botany where I used to contribute to journals by writing research papers. That was technical writing which was widely accepted around the scientist world.

Have you ever considered living like a pauper, and still want to write? Have you ever considered the prospect that if you committed yourself to writing full time, you may not make much money but you still want to write? If the writing is more appealing to you than living in luxury, you have the bug. Yes I have a bug too as for my “contributions”; I was not promised any payment. The pennyless writer, I used to jest about myself. I never did writing for money–I never imagined that I could even earn a penny out of my writings, and yet I started getting some remuneration from those research papers.
It felt great when my research paper was accepted by Society of Ethnobotany and I was invited at University of California, Santa Barbara, USA to read my research paper.
Scientist from all over the world appreciated and loved it my research and I got a lot of positive comments. My take on the review was quite unique.
Things were looking great. I started getting a some amount of money out of writing. But sooner other real world troubles forced me to cut down the time I could devote to writing on my favorite topics.
Soon, I was a full time housewife and an ex-writer. I still used to get requests for writing. Have you ever found yourself lost in thought? Have you ever found yourself totally immersed in your own thoughts when you should be focusing on something else and those thoughts are plots, poems or lyrics? I was writing for my inner self then.
I did doctorate and post doctorate, got myself a job and realized that I have given up on my dreams of becoming a writer.
I was so busy and devoted to my job, that I even started forgetting that I once was a writer. But poetess and writer at the heart was alive; writing few lines, poems and expressing my feelings in my personal diary.
After a while, I did find an avenue–blogging. I still managed to jot down sporadic thoughts.
As inspired by Amitabh Bachchan’s saying “Because you are women, people will force their thinking on you, their boundaries on you. They will tell you how to dress, how to behave, who you can meet and where you can go. Don’t live in the shadows of people’s judgement. Make your own choices in the light of your own wisdom; I managed to complete writing a full fledged book on accomplishments of real world women entitled “Women The Achievers”.
My personal facebook notes, posts etc. were also widely accepted. I had published approximately hundred research papers. In the series of real life stories I wrote second book entitled “Innovators The Achievers”. It discussed about the Innovative ideas of real life hero’s to succeed. This book “Beyond The Boundaries” is my third book in the series of Achievers and is very close to my heart because my life is also the live example of breaking the barriers, crossing the limits and reaching Beyond the boundaries. Believe me there is immense peace, abundance of joy and inner fulfilment.
It is the air that you breathe and what makes your heart continue beating. Your soul is filled with words that have no meaning until you sit down and pour them through your heart like a sieve. This is what writing is to the writer. The writing profession is unlike any other because it is not a profession to me. It is a way of life. I am drawn to it.
You will find me scribbling endlessly on scrap paper, writing at a corner table, and sitting at our computers for 20 hours at a time. I write because I’ve to write. Sometimes, my words are pleasing and motivating to other people and that is good.
Cyril Connolly said it best when she wrote, ‘Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.’
Gurbani of Japjee Sahib confirms,
” Mann jeetey jag jeet……….” means by winning your heart you can win the world. Listen to your inner voice. Go Beyond the Boundaries.
Dr. Amit Kaur Puri says, “Don’t limit your challenges. Challenge your limits.” Yes you can be daughter, wife, mother, entrepreneur, scientist, poetess, motivator, social activist and authoured at the same time!!!
