But due to the rise of Indian media from foreign media, negativity is also considered as value. Now with the Indianization of the media, positive values will be inculcated in it. And the media will be getting value added loyalty again.” Quoted Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi in his inaugural speech as the chief guest in the seminar. The topic of the said seminar was ‘Role of teachers and journalists in building a value based society’. This seminar was organized by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in the auditorium of Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Sector 11, Dwarka. In the same seminar, Anuradha Prasad, Chairperson of News 24 TV channel, as a special guest, said that media communication and dialogue have united the whole of India in the thread of unity. And it is the need if the hour for positive dialogue in the society which is nowadays getting vanished in the society.
Brahma Kumari Saroj Didi, the organizer of the Seminar, told that before external change, internal change is necessary and first change has to be brought in oneself on the basis of values. Only then, there will be change in the society, country and the world. Whereas Brahma Kumari Asha ji, Director of Omshanti Retreat Centre, Gurugram, said in her video message that the teacher’s glory is shown by changing the basic principles like don’t take revenge, don’t give sorrow, take sorrow, take happiness, take happiness and good feelings towards all. Have a desire and its conduct is called teaching.
On this occasion, young writer Amit Dubey’s book “Safar Jari Hai” was released by the Chief Guest Prof.(Dr.) Sanjay Dwivedi- D. G.- Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) – New Delhi. According to National Media Coordinator Sushant Bhai, many senior journalists Pradeep Srivastava, Ashish Mamgain, Sanjay Mishra, Akhilesh Pandey, Anil Balyan, Manmohan Gupta, educationist Prof. KP Singh, Prof. Hansraj Suman, Neeta Arora, Mamta Gupta, Ritu, senior journalists attended this seminar. Puri, Atul Badhawan, Poonam Sharma, writer-Dr.Chandramani Brhmadutt, Krishna Kumar Soni, Amartanshu, including a total of more than sixty academicians, media persons, writers were present.
For inner peace and strength, the people present were made to practice collective Raja Yoga meditation. Apart from this, under the supervision of Vice-Principal and Founder of Blind Persons Association Anil Kumar Verma, blind girl students also presented their soulful group songs. Poonam Didi and Ekta Didi efficiently anchored the whole seminar. At the end of the program, the budding media students were awarded with certificates-jointly by Samarpan (NGO) and Creatives World Media Academy. The seminar concluded with the vote of thanks by Assistant Professor S.S. Dogra who was the convener of this National Seminar on Education & Journalism.
