Shiksha Bharati Public School, sector 7, Dwarka organised Jhankar – Inter school competition as an opportunity for the budding dancers and singers. It was held on 8th December 2016 and 9 December 2016 in school Auditorium. On the 1st da the chief guest was Ms Sapna Attavar – Bharatnatyam dancer and on the second day Ms. Rachna Sharma – assistant professor KIIT College Gurgaon, graced the occasion as a chief guest.
Lamp was lighted which was followed by Saraswati Vandana. The guests were given a warm welcome with a bouquet, memento and a stole by Principal madam. The chief guests’ speeches were enthralling.
Solo Ghazal, Group Patriotic Song, Classical Group Dance, Group Folk Dance and Solo Western Dance competitions were held. Experienced and Competent judges adjudged the competitions both of the days. The schools which secured first second and third positions were given away mementos and certificates by the distinguished guests, judges, and Principal madam. The host school passed its positions wherever it secured.
Participation certificates were given away to all the participants. Total 17 schools participated with 377 participants. Rolling Trophy was won by code number 115 i.e – Sri Venkateshwara International School, Dwarka. Vote of thanks was proposed by Head Girl of the School. Honorable manager ma’am conveyed her blessings to all the participants. Refreshment was provided to all the accompanying teachers and participants. Everyone enjoy the competitions.
