SPACE India organized India’s largest student scientific solar expedition named as Heliodyssey 2019 for which the online selection examination, SPACE HeliOdyssey Test 2019 (SHOT-2019) was conducted at national level for selection of young and budding astronomers to chase and experience the annular solar eclipse of December 26, 2019 from India and Sultanate of Oman.
Students of Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka not only participated but also performed brilliantly. 17 students managed to come under top 200 rank.

Securing Ranks, 30, 33, 36 and 42 respectively, following will go on a sponsored Scientific Solar Expedition to Cheruvathur, Kerala:

Four students have won 76mm refractor telescope with solar filter and seven students have won for themselves 50mm refractor telescope with solar filter.
Students were provided with an opportunity to become a part of a solar scientific expedition and to scientifically observe and record the annular solar eclipse of December 26, 2019 from India and Sultanate of Oman. Students worked with Astronomers and scientist in study of Annular Solar Eclipse as official student scientific expedition.
