On December 26 and 27, 2017, Sri Venkateshwar International School hosted the National Final – Maha Behes 2017. The two-days event saw over 400 debaters from across eight cities representing 29 schools battle it out for the coveted title of the Maha Behes Champion Debaters.

The debaters participated in three intense rounds of debating on the first day which was followed by the Knock outs and the Grand Finale for the season on the second day. It was not just about debating, as the first day saw the participants don their dancing shoes as they participated in the Christmas Ball, an evening of music, fun and frolic. The budding Sri VIS musicians reverberated the audience with their foot tapping numbers.
The Final Round of Behes was adjudged by adjudicators from across the country. Stubh Lal from Sri Venkateshwar International School, Sector -28, Dwarka was declared the Best Lions Speaker for the National Finals. In the Cubs Division, Dhriti Narang from Maxfort School, Dwarka clenched the coveted title. Sri VIS Cubs team emerged as the First Runners up.
