Srijan brings best of Food, Music And Shopping Festival to Dwarka


Lets imagine together, beyond words…beyond usual…

As the winter took a break and warm sunshine filled the parks, terraces and lanes, Dwarka hosted “SRIJAN ekrang eksang” its first annual cultural festival on the occasion of Bharteeya Nav Varsh. It brought rich shopping, regional cuisines and cultural entertainment performances from all regions of India to over 30000 Men and Women who came visiting to this unique 3 day carnival.

It was held on 27th March to 29th March 2015, Srijan has created a benchmark in Dwarka for cultural programs and captured the residents imagination to become an annual program with a grand debut. It has created a platform for the whole community to mingle with each other, to showcase their unique skills and talent and also have gone a step ahead to identify and acknowledge the achievers within and placed them as role models for the rest. 
Srijan also had an activity zone where children from various schools including those from underprivileged were given an opportunity to participate in drawing competition, quiz shows, talent hunt etc. Another highlight was the amusement area, spread over 1200 sqm, having unique set of games and activities providing light fun to testing the skills of youngsters in the adventure zone made like an obstacle course.
The program saw the presence of Dignitaries from all walks of life ranging from sportsmen and women like Yashpal Solanki (Arjuna Awardee Judoka), Educationists, Media personalities, achievers in social work like Sh. Diwan Singh, Ramesh Mumukshu and political leaders like Sh. Parvesh Verma MP, Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat state president Mahila Morcha BJP.
The organising team made up of leading social organisations of Dwarka led by Sumit Maluja are happy and satisfied with the response that the carnival has got. “The success of this carnival has clearly shown that people have a great appetite for cultural programs and celebrating traditional Bharteeya occasions and “SRIJAN ekrang eksang” has shown them the way. We promise to make it bigger and even better next year i.e. Vikrami Samvat 2073” says Sumit Maluja.
