Sri Venkateshwar International School,Sec18, Dwarka was among the top 8 schools in the Delhi-NCR region in the Aptis for Teens Challenge 2015 organised by the British Council.120 students from across the region participated and Ms Shivangi Singh made her alma mater proud by being in the chosen top 10 for the Inter-School Extempore Challenge.
The event was an important step in the journey to test competency for English Language-the lingua franca of the world. Ms Shivangi’s unfettered thoughts on ‘International sports like Olympics help to bring countries together’ galvanised the attention of the audience.
On the same day a workshop on ‘The role of assessments in improving language proficiency of the students’ by Dr Hutoxi Randeria was attended by the School Principal Ms Nita Arora, Vice Principal Ms Priya Braria and the Middle School Coordinator Ms Navita Srivastava. The event was an amalgamation of learning and cherished accomplishments, reinforcing the prowess of Sri Venkateshwarites.
