Teachers’ Day Celebrated with vigour at The Indian Heights School

Teachers’ Day is intended to be a special day for the appreciation of Teachers, and it also includes celebrations to honor them for their special contribution in the field of education. Teachers Day was celebrated with élan on September 5, 2013, at The Indian Heights School, Sector-23, Dwarka. To mark the occasion and to pay tribute to their teachers, students of TIHS organized a colorful Cultural Program. In the strings of event were songs, group dances and skits. The Principal, Ms. Archana Narain addressed the students and emphasized the importance of teachers in a student’s life. She said that teachers are an epitome of inspiration in the lives of the students and they leave an indelible impression in their minds. She also advised the students to always respect their teachers as they are the mentors in their life. 
To make the occasion more eventful, the students felicitated their teachers and honored them for their great work. Some fun-filled activities like Flameless cooking, flower decoration and on the spot performance were organized to entertain the teachers. On the whole, the day was colorful and memorable one.
