“Rejoice the spirit of Raksha Bandhan as virtue of protection and symbol of solidarity”
Raksha Bhandhan, a celebration of the abiding and immaculate bond of love between brother and sister goes beyond the family at TIHS. The customary ritual is performed every year in the school wherein the soldiers visit the school campus and the students tie rakhis on their wrists and also send Rakhis with goodwill messages of eternal bond and togetherness for the brave soldiers serving the nation. This year also with the same zeal and enthusiasm students prepared eco friendly Rakhis and tied them on the wrists of the Soldiers who visited the school. Their gesture conveyed the message of love and gratitude for the soldiers guarding the country and working relentlessly for our safety & security. Soaked in the emotions of brotherhood the l’l ones came dressed up in traditional attire and celebrated this pious occasion joyfully.
This activity instilled a feeling of patriotism amongst the young learners as they vowed to follow the footsteps of the Men in Uniform. The school Principal, Ms. Archana Narain also commended the efforts put in by the little ones and motivated them to serve the nation by becoming responsible citizens. To conclude, the day left indelible memories in the minds of the students who rejoiced making eco-friendly Rakhis and sending it across to our real life Heroes –our brave soldiers.
