TIHS OBSERVES ROAD SAFETY WEEK


“Follow Traffic Rules Save Life & Fuel.”

The students from The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka observed Road Safety Week from Jan 11 – 20,2017, as they engaged in array of activities viz special Assembly on Road Safety, worksheet etc. The students penned their messages and concerns for following traffic rules as they participated in inter- House Slogan Writing Competition. To make the campaign more fruitful and approachable, the students distributed road safety leaflets and controlled the traffic outside the school. The aim of this campaign was to emphasize and accentuate people about the need of safe roads travel by applying just simple rules. They also explained to the commuters about the methods and necessities of the road safety means and that they must understand the use of helmets or seat belts while driving on the road or anywhere. The campaign was a success as many commuters lauded the efforts made by the students and instantly fastened their seat belts as well to show the concern thereby following traffic rules, hence safety rules for everyone around.
