New Delhi, May 14, 2025: Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka, organized a dynamic Mock Press Conference on May 13, offering budding journalists an immersive platform to experience real-world media scenarios. The event featured three engaging segments—Young Entrepreneurs, Earth Day Campaign, and Placement Expo 2025—aimed at providing practical industry exposure to students.
The program commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and Ganesh Vandana, followed by a welcome address by Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman of TIPS, who stressed the need for experiential learning in media education.
Distinguished industry speakers, including Suhani Khanna (The Founders Times), Aman Pandey (Pixel Potion), and former NSS leaders Ishita Duseja and Mridul Sehgal, shared insights on entrepreneurship, environmental awareness, and career readiness. Adding literary value, two books—‘Journalism Ethics’ and ‘Investigative Journalism’—were launched during the event.
The conference was judged by Ms. Grusha Khanna and renowned journalist-author Prof. S.S. Dogra, who felicitated outstanding performers in each segment along with Dr.R.K.Tandon . The event, organized by the Journalism & Mass Communication Department under HOD Mrs. Ruchika Gupta, successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, preparing students for future roles in the media industry.
