Parvatiya Lokvikas Samiti have been celebrating Uttarayani Mahotsav for the last 8 years. Uttarayani is the auspicious festival that is celebrated almost entire country in different name and style. On the day of Uttarayani the sun enters the zodiacal sign of maker that is the reason it is the festival of sun which is the creator of life on earth. On this occasion we also pay homage to our Himalaya and Rivers including holy Ganga.
