Dehradun, 23rd September, 2018: Filmmaker S.S.Dogra was felicitated jointly by Bollywood legend Vivek Vaswani, Surender Pal Singh, Harak Singh Rawat-Cabinet Minister Uttrakhand & Rajesh Sharma, for his movie “Uttrakhandi Warriors” in the grand Award Ceremony held in Hotel Solitaire. Its a bio pic on Harish Chaudhary who is an inspiring para athlete from Rudrapur, Uttrakhand itself.

Harish suffered a polio attach when he was only one year old. But he began his sports career when he was in 9th class & participated in an athletic event took place in his school. He nurtured under the able guidance of Karate Coach Md. Hasan Khan. After that he won many medals at state & national level. Harish was felicitated with Sports State prize that too with the hands of Harish Rawat then Chief Minister of Uttrakhand. Harish is promoting his fellow para athlete friends on local, national & international circuit. He along with Harun Rashid-National Secretary of Disable Sporting Society, Agra so far organized three international level Wheelchair Cricket Tournaments.
Harish played the lead role in this movie. This is an inspiring film particularly for disabled, The Script & Lyrics of the title song written by S.S.Dogra & bollywood singer Prabhat Mishra & Akom Sing, sang the song & music by Come on India band. This movie was screened in Silver City Multiplex Cinema Hall in the presence of Veteran artist Rajender Gupta, Comedian Khyali, famous singer Prem Bhatia, during the 4th Dehradun International Film Festival held in Dehradun from 21st to 23rd September,2018 in which sixty short films & feature films were selected out of 250 films.
Mr. Dogra announced that the Video Album of the theme song would also be launched soon while he was interacting with the audience present in the Cinema hall.
