NCR Chess Academy organizes 7th Takshila Grand Prix Challenge at Sadhu Vaswani International School 2nd Street, Shanti Niketan, New Delhi-110021 on 27-28 Sept., 2008 – for U-10, U-15 & U-19 Boys & Girls
Entry fee: Rs. 150 DCA Regn. fee (if not already regd.) Rs. 20 – (entry form is enclosed)
Last date : 25.09.08 Late fee after due date : Rs 100 extra
Prizes: Rs. 9500.00 ( Trophies will be given to winner Teams in U-10, U-15 & U-19)
1st Rs. 2500/- 2nd Rs. 1500/- 3rd Rs. 1000/- 4th Rs. 800/- 5th Rs. 700/- 6th-10th Rs. 500/- each
Schedule : 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. – 7 Rounds (can be changed depending on number of entries)
Reportiong time : 9.30 a.m. The tournaments will be played under rapid chess rules .
The Takshila Grand Prix is sponsored by the Takshila Society that has been sponsoring various chess activities throughout the country. The qualifiers will play in the Super Tournament organised by Delhi chess Association with some invited players below 25 years of with Prizes as under : (top Teams will get trophies)
