Paramount International School, Sector 23, Dwarka celebrated Motherhood with great zest and enthusiasm. The students wanted to convey to their mothers that though they may not express it often but mothers mean the world to them and they left no stone unturned to do so.
After the school coordinator Ms. Jaspreet Kaur’s formal welcome address and narration of a short emotional story on mother, the program began with a bang ! Through a plethora of dances, dance drama,songs and poems, the students kept the audience spellbound. The beautifully enacted dance drama Mother Earth won thunderous applauds from the audience. The flawless and witty compering of the teachers was the star attraction of the event. A tasteful amalgam of emotional,trendy and traditional dance performances spiced up the celebration all the more. The foot tapping choreography of folk dances also won great words of appreciation.
The Managing Director, Mrs.R.L.Saroha paid a glowing tribute to all mothers by saying that a mother’s debt can never be paid back by merely celebrating one special day for her. In fact we must endeavour to make her feel proud of us and pledge to respect her at all times. Only then Motherhood can be celebrated in the true sense of the word.
The Primary Incharge Ms. Parul Mathur shared her recipe of ‘How to be a ROCKSTAR MOM.’ She conducted an interesting game for the mothers ‘CLAIM YOUR STAKE’ in which the lucky moms were given a meaningful prize of a sapling in china clay pot.
The Chief Guest of the day Mrs. Suman Sawhney, Vice Principal of Govt.Co-Ed Sr Secondary School, Sector 22 Dwarka and the Guest of Honour Mrs.Kiran Mathur Principal of a Banasthali Public school , also paid a rich tribute of gratitude to all mothers and appreciated the hard work of students and teachers in putting up such a brilliant show. They further applauded the management for providing such a lavish platform to the students to nurture and perfect their inherent talents.
In the end, the Creative Head of the school, Ms. Poonam Verma thanked the entire staff, the students and their parents for their incessant cooperation and support in making the program a great success.
