New Delhi, October 25 – If the simmering tensions between India and Pakistan are not immediately resolved, foreign powers may exploit these nations’ territories as battlegrounds to establish their dominance. This has already happened with Ukraine. If India and Pakistan become war zones, both countries could face devastation similar to Ukraine, possibly even erasing them from the world map.
These remarks were made by Mr. Vishwatma, the chief guest at the second day’s inaugural session of an international conference on global rights.
Mr. Vishwatma, a renowned author of several books on political reforms, further added that while wars eventually come to an end, they leave total destruction in their wake. Therefore, it is essential to thaw the icy relations between India and Pakistan now, as there is no greater service to the nation. He emphasized that without delay, all neighboring countries of India should come together and form a South Asian Union, similar to the European Union, as it is in their best interest.
Chairing the session, former Nepalese MP Mr. Hari Charan Shah stated that all South Asian nations must exert pressure on their respective governments and political leaders to immediately sign an international treaty to establish a South Asian Union. As the keynote speaker, prominent Indian farmer leader Mr. Sardar V.M. Singh listed the benefits of forming the South Asian Union, stating that its creation would instantly triple the value of South Asian currencies compared to the US dollar. The union would bring sudden prosperity to the families of South Asian citizens, ensuring security for their lives and property.
Supreme Court Senior Advocate Mr. Mahmood Pracha highlighted that given South Asia’s historic cultural unity, this move would fulfill the long-held aspirations of the region’s people.
Former Chief Secretary of Tamilnadu Mr Jashbeer Singh Bazaz pointed out that farmers and laborers are being incited to hate one another based on caste, religion, and nationality, preventing their families—who have coexisted for centuries—from uniting.
Farmers’ leader of NCR Mr. Sunil Fauji stated that the South Asian Union would act as a life-saving remedy for all South Asian nations, adding that farmers and laborers will fight for their right to this union.
On the second day of the two-day international conference on global citizens’ rights, a proposal for the formation of an interim parliament for the South Asian Union was passed. The proposal stated that this interim parliament would organize forces within society that believe in regional cooperation, peace, and prosperity. Presenting the proposal, Mr. Vishwatma remarked that at one time, European countries were bloodthirsty enemies of each other, and they were the ones who had created the narrow definition of sovereignty. India, on the other hand, has always believed in global nationalism, with the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family) deeply ingrained in its people.
Among the speakers on the second day of the conference were advocates Ramniwas Yadav and Rajesh Yadav from Etah, Mr. Tarani Basumatari, president of Voters Party International from Assam, Mr. S.K. Yerapotthu from Chennai, Rohtash Jamdagni, Yogendra Singh Nayan, Noted Jaurnalist Zand former MP Sh Santosh Bhartiya and others.
