An exhibition of paintings at RCIFA, “Ba-Bapu 150” depicts the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Inaugurated

On the occasion of 150th Ba-Bapu Birth Anniversary Celebration,  A group Exhibition of Paintings titeld “Ba-Bapu 150” “Artists Celebrating 150 years of Kasturba & Mahatma Gandhi”  The exhibition will present the life and ideals of Gandhi and his companionship with Kasturba through 18  paintings in Acrylic on Canvas medium  by Delhi based  artists Deepak Sharma, Hari Om, Harshvardhan Arya, Hena Chakraborty, Jay Sethia, Komal, Mahesh Kumar, Neetu Gupta, Neellu Khanna, Neelam Bansal, Nidhi Jain, Rahul Wahi, Roop Chand, Shivani Gupta, Sunil Dutt Mamgain, Sunil Kumar, Thokchom Thouba and Trisha Dang. In their paintings artists depicted through colours on canvas Important events in the life of ‘Bapu’ and ‘Ba’, as Gandhi and his wife were fondly called.

This show will organised by Roop Chand Institute of Fine Art, Ashok Vihar Delhi and the exhibition  inaugurated by Mrs. Hena Chakraborty (Eminent Artist & Formar Curator-Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Ministry of Culture Govt. of India) and Mr. Daya Nand Vats (Eminent Educationist , Chairman The Art of Giving Foundation Trust & National General Secretary-Akhil Bhartiya Swatantra Patrakar avom Lekhak Sangh) today. Exhibition will remain open at Roop Chand Institute of Fine Art,  23, Deep Central Market, Ashok Vihar, Phase-1, Delhi-110052 From 1st to 30th October 2019.
