Amidst the complete lockdown because of Coronavirus pandemic, Apeejay School of Management (ASM) has roped in a gamut of experts to provide industry oriented enrichment to its students. It is also going forward with its summer internship programmes.
While regular virtual classes are on, the Management School recently organised a series guest lectures of eminent professionals and entrepreneurs. The lectures by the distinguished guests were especially organised for the 2nd years management students of the batch 2018-20. Faculty members of ASM also attended the guest lectures.
Among the major lectures during this series were ‘How Industry is remodelling its business and how to keep up with pace’ by Anshul Puhani, CEO, Monster.com; ‘How to keep ourselves motivated and how industry is remodelling its structures to meet these challenges’ by S.Y. Sidiqui, Chief Mentor, Maruti Suzuki Ltd; ‘How to stay engaged and motivated’ by Amit Pandey, COO, Exicom India, and ‘How to keep ourselves motivated during lockdown and how Industry is remodelling itself to meet lockdown challenges across the globe’ by Aquil Bustai, CEO Aquil Bustai Consulting.
The lectures were held through multiple Zoom sessions of video conferencing, spread over several days with the aim to maximize productivity when working from home. Besides, ASM conducted virtual classes on Research Management & Quality Management for the students specializing in marketing & operations.
Meanwhile, the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) at ASM has tightened its sleeves to help out students with quality summer internships with reputed companies. The CRC team and the student body held a detailed meeting on this to find out major concerns and solutions to make the best use of the Summer Internship Programme. The CRC team is exploring some amicable solutions to it and have come up with some internship projects on a remote working basis.
ASM is coming up with a series of other corporate guest lectures and workshops virtually for its students and faculty members.
