As we all are aware Kerala has been devastated by heavy flooding of almost entire state. The rescue operation is over and now the most difficult part of relief and reconstruction has started. As per initial estimates the loss is to the tune of Rs. 20,000 crores. Around 20000 houses has been completely destroyed and many more need major repairs to make them habitable. The hospitals are in bad shape and many equipments have been rendered non functional. Their is acute need for dry ration and other items as well.
Though many people / organisations have come forward to help but our brothers and sisters in Kerala need more help to restart their lives.
Pahal Social Organisation has taken the initiative of collecting contributions of Rs. 500/- from their members and other well wishers which will be handed over to the Chief Minister’s relief fund by way of a cheque at Kerala Bhavan in Delhi. Contribution can be more than Rs. 500/- as well.
