Colombia Asia Hospital in association with ANHLGT organized Basic Life support Training in Dwarka at Sheetal Vihar CGHS Community Hall Sector 23, Dwarka.Children of three schools Govt Coed school .., , Mount Carmel school, Sector- 22 and Paramount Internation school Sector 23 where imparted invaluable Basic life support training by BLS training specialist Ms Nisha-Colombia Asia hospital, Palam Vihar. Around 70 children from these schools along with teachers and other dwarakities participated in the event. The children were taught CPR( Cardio pulmonary resuscitation) techniques on how to save a precious life in a emergency situation if a persons/infants heart stops beating. Apart from the presentation students from all the schools formed groups and got actual hands on training on how to use these invaluable techniques on dummies. Speaking on the occasion President ANHLGT Mrs Cicily Kodiyan said that involving youngsters especially school children in such events was very important as they get hands on experience from the real world. She added that In 2010, the American Heart Association updated its guidelines to recommend that everyone — untrained bystanders and medical personnel alike — begin CPR with chest compressions. Talking to dwarkaparichay Mrs. Kodiyan informed that all the participants will get certificates on basic life support training by Colombia Asia Hospital at the ANGLHT anniversary celebration to be held on December 10th in sector 23 , dwarka. Mrs Malshri Singh-Joint secretary of ANHLGT thanked all the participants especially the school students, teachers and Colombia Asia hospital for making the event successful.
