Indian Darts Team Departs from Kanpur for Kolkata, Set to Unfurl the Tricolour in Malaysia

Amid an atmosphere filled with sporting spirit, enthusiasm and patriotism, Kreeda Bharati chief Neetu Katiyar ceremonially flagged off the Indian Darts Team from Kanpur Railway Station for their participation in an international championship. The players were honoured with flower garlands and traditional stoles (patkas) as a mark of respect and encouragement. The contingent will depart for Malaysia from Kolkata International Airport on Thursday. On this occasion, she motivated the players and expressed full confidence that the team would bring glory to India with an outstanding performance on the world stage.

The event was graced by the presence of Indian Disability Darts Association President Ankur Gupta and General Secretary Mahendra Singh, along with Santosh Gupta, Manish Kumar, Rahul Gupta, Rohit Gupta (twin brothers and international para icons), Head Coach Shailesh Kumar and Global Media Coordinator Prof. S.S. Dogra. All officials extended their best wishes to the players for a successful and inspiring performance.

General Secretary Mahendra Singh stated that the team is heading to Malaysia with complete preparation, strong determination and confidence to compete in the international tournament. Sports enthusiasts and well-wishers present at the railway station bid an enthusiastic farewell to the players with applause and spirited slogans.
