Prof. S.S. Dogra’s Books Submitted to Central Reference Library

Kolkata, April 23: On the occasion of World Book Day, senior journalist, author and media educator Prof. S.S. Dogra submitted his six books to the Central Reference Library of the National Library of India, where they have been catalogued across various language sections, making them more accessible to a diverse readership. The submission took place in the presence of Head of Office Ojiv Kumar Ganvir and Drawing & Disbursing Officer Rajesh Kumar, along with their colleagues, who appreciated Prof. Dogra’s significant contribution to literature and media education.

The books submitted include Media Can Do Wonders in Students’ Life, Media Ek Kadam Aage, Mere Humsafar, Udachi Vam, You Can Rise & Shine and Tiger of India – Anurag Singh Thakur. With over three decades of experience in journalism, Prof. Dogra currently serves as Bureau Chief (Delhi) for Himalini Magazine, Nepal. He has also conducted more than 331 media workshops across India and Nepal, contributing extensively to student engagement and media literacy. The inclusion of his works in the National Library stands as a notable recognition of his contributions and ensures the long-term preservation of his writings for future generations.
