Institute of Skill Development (iSkill) formally inaugurated its first centre at Dwarka Sector 6, New Delhi. The occasion was blessed with the graceful presence of Swami Shantatmananda – Secretary Ramakrishna Mission.

With a vision to suffice the compelling need of skill development and to address the challenges of imparting the skills required by a growing economy; iSkill is in a mission mode to encourage the development of vocational and employable skills for the youth.
Complying the growth vision of India by 2022, need is to up skill 500 million people across sectors – according to information from National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
Recognising the skill gaps through carefully guided market survey, iSkill has developed programmes and courses which are highly sensitive to market demands and has taken up those employable trades that are in demand in the local market. This not only ensures a match between the market or industry expectations and the skills of the trainees, but also helps them get entry level jobs easily.
As a result of a syndicated research conducted over the local business establishments and enterprises, iSkill has launched skill development courses to meet the expectations of high growth sectors. Shop & Store Management (Retail Management), Essential Business Communication (English Language Skills) and Basics Financial Accounting (Tally Courses) are some of the courses.

Institute has currently tied up with the Retailers Association of India who guarantees 100% placements of students with RAI members such as Globus, Shoppers Stop, Big Bazaar amongst others. Along with this, iSkill has an exclusive tie up with Bangalore headquartered Tally Solutions, for training students in Tally recommended courses, in nationally acclaimed basic accounting software.
Speaking with Dwarka Parichay Director of iSkill says, “We have brought in our mind to reach out at various places so that students could get benefitted without travelling long distances. The objective is to equip students with knowledge, talent and personality which enhance their efficiencies to deliver from day one at the workplace. They should hold a command on their performance part, this should be the responsibility of any vocational course”
