Kamal Model Sr. School, Mohan Garden, New Delhi was honoured to hold CBSE Inter School Taekwondo Championship-2018. The Championship lasted for three days and 175 school of Delhi participated in it. Chief Guests of the programme Naresh Balyan, MLA, Uttam Nagar and Mrs. Madu Singh, DDE (West B) along with other dignitaries Dr. Surendra Kr. Bhandoria, DDE, MCD, Mrs. Kamini Rawat, SPE Zone-18, Dr. M.C. Sharma Former Director IGNOU and S.K. Saraswat, Former DDE inaugurated the programme by lighting the auspicious lamp.
Mrs. Vandana Tandon, Principal and office bearers of Managing Committee Harsh Prakash, Mrs. Akansha Tandon and Mrs. Pushpa Jindal greeted the honourable guest with bouquets and scrolls. The students of the school presented a series of cultural events and spellbound the audience.
In his brief address Chairman of Kamal and Vandana Group of Institutions Sh. V.P. Tandon welcome the guests, coaches and participants and sought their co-operation to make the championship a successful event. The three days Championship want smoothly and ended with sound note. Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Commonwealth, Asian and European Power Lifting Champion graced the occasion as Chief Guest on closing and Award Ceremony. Kamal Model Sr. Sec. School was adjudged the Champion of this Championship and lifted the champion trophy.
