CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS INDIAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND

In JMIS, we have always believed that the joy of giving is much more fulfilling than the joy of receiving. We try and imbibe values and enable students to reach out and contribute to the society that has given them so much. One such initiative undertaken in the month of August was, ‘contributing towards Indian Association for the Blind’. Indian Association for the Blind (IAB) celebrated International White Cane day for blind in order to create awareness about the potentials and problems of visually challenged and our staff and students generously donated for the cause.

During this week, we encouraged students to actively support such a noble cause and made sure that they were able to understand the purpose behind such initiative. All the students of classes Ankur to XII came forward and collected the flags given by IAB. Each flag collected by the students was a contribution towards the cause. All the staff and students joined hands for making this project a big success. We were able to collect a considerable amount which was contributed to Indian Association for the Blind.
