Diwali Celebrations at The Indian Heights School


It was festive time from 30th October onwards at The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka. Diwali season is infectious, with the festive fervor pervading the air. A Special Assembly was organized on November 5, 2018 at the school to highlight the importance of the festival and the message that it conveys.

Several students put up a dance drama highlighting the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhaya and the festivities that followed. Students took a pledge not to burst crackers and to celebrate a green and eco friendly Diwali. They were engaged in adding a festive touch to the entire school through their creative endeavours. They decorated plant pots pitchers, earthen diyas.

They gave vent to their creative expressions through the Poster Competitions-‘Say No To Crackers’. Peer Interact students went around the premises spreading the message of safe Diwali. Ms. Archana Narain lauded the efforts of the students on promoting a safe and cracker free Diwali.
