The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia (FCC), New Delhi, has successfully concluded its internal elections held on May 24, 2025.
Dr. SH Waiel Awwad, a veteran geopolitical analyst with over 40 years of experience, has been elected as President for the 2025–27 term. Prakash Nanda will serve as Secretary, and PM Narayanan has been elected Treasurer. A nine-member Governing Council was also elected. Amit Sharma was the Returning officer of the said election.

Prof. S.S. Dogra, an active member of FCC, shared the development and congratulated the newly elected team. The new team will formally assume office on June 1, 2025. Outgoing President S. Venkat Narayan (2023–25) extended his best wishes to the incoming leadership and praised the fair and transparent election process.
