2nd August,2020: The world is witnessing an unprecedented time these days, and undoubtedly virtual has become the new normal for everyone. Keeping up the flamboyance and flair amid these hard times, a team of exuberant law students organised a ‘Virtual Website Launch Event’ of a new legal portal ‘LawHabitat’ on August 1, 2020 (Saturday). The event was conducted successfully via Google Meet with approximately 50 attendees. The event was honoured by the presence of eminent guests and legal luminaries.
The website, LawHabitat, initiated by law students, aims to mushroom outstanding legal knowledge and awareness among the people. It is an exhaustive conglomeration of theoretical and practical aspects of law. LawHabitat focuses on providing valuable assistance to compeer law students and the legal fraternity. It also curves the path for ardent law students who are willing to inculcate professional skills by providing them with numerous opportunities to emerge as an excellent par performer in the legal world.
“From merely a thought of creating a legal website to announcing its launch today, we have come a long way indeed.” Quoting these words during the event, Ms. Neha Gururani (Founder) and Ms. Neerja Gautam (Co-Founder) highlighted the journey of LawHabitat and extended their unfeigned gratitude to the team members for their unconditional support and cooperation. Ms. Shivani Verma (Managing Editor), Ms. Bharti Bhatt (Content Manager), Ms. Priyanka Hooda (Content Manager), Mr. Yuvan Bhatnagar (PR Manager) and Mr. Yuvraj Singh (Marketing Manager) accentuated their contribution in this initiative as core team members of LawHabitat.
The Chief Guests Dr Sanjeeb Patjoshi (IPS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, GOI), Sh. Yogesh Kumar Gupta (Hon’ble Judge, Family Court, Haridwar) and Sh. Debendra Prasad Majhi (Director, Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry of Social Justice, GOI) showered blessings for the success of the new venture “LawHabitat” and graced the event with some kind words of encouragement.
Mr. Surender Singh Dogra (Senior Journalist and Author), the special guest for this event appreciated this initiative and assured the team that he would be supporting and guiding them for future endeavours.
The other esteemed guests of the event Ms. Aarushi Agarwal (Academician), Ms. Sulacha Prasad (Advocate & Owner of Law Luminist), Mr. Anil Dutt Sharma (Advocate, High Court of Delhi) and Mr. Vaibhav Kandpal (Advocate, Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change, GOI) praised the efforts of young minds with their motivating words.
