To take a step forward to trim down the distance and remoteness between two countries with diverse social and cultural background, the school made an effort to invite 13 students from France to India, (Delhi). The day began with invocation of the almighty by lighting the inaugural lamp. Thereafter, the guest were welcomed with a bouquet followed a welcome speech from the principal of school, Dr. Rajee N. Kumar. The colorful and scintillating dance performance really stole the show which was followed by an informative yet enlightening PowerPoint presentation on Indian history and ethnicity. The time for cultural discourse came when students from both countries came face to face with their questions about culture and customs of each others country. Such a talk show was one of its own kinds as the discourse varied from customs and ritual to the education system. It was a platform where students living in different corners of the globe enjoyed an opportunity to collectively come together and share entirely a different experience they have had during their stay for a few days in India. The program came to an end with a modest vote of thanks by the Principal of the French school (college Jean Lemaire De Belges, Bavay). The program culminated with soft and profound notes of National Anthems of the both the countries.
