Grand Celebration of International Yoga Day at SVIS by Durga Saptashati Foundation

On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, the Durga Saptashati Foundation organized a grand Yoga Camp at the premises of Shri Venkateshwar International School, Sector-18, Dwarka. The event commenced with a Ganesh Vandana and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

The Yoga Camp, conducted under the guidance of Yoga experts Manmohan Gupta, Kiran and Payal, witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of people who practiced various yoga postures and pranayama techniques. On this occasion, students from Nishchintam Dance & Music Academy and the host school’s students captivated the audience with their delightful cultural performances based on the theme of yoga.

The successful organization of the event was made possible through the collective efforts of the Durga Saptashati Foundation team and the valuable support of Venkateshwar Hospital. The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Patron Promila Malik, Pankaj Shyam Lathar, Dr. S. N. Sindhu, Dr. K. K. Nagia, Rekha Jhingan, Naveen Kotya, Neeru Gupta, Pratima Khandelwal, I. M. Khanna, Dr. Saroj- Dr.K. K. Bansal and several other distinguished guests.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Nagender Solanki, Chairman of Shri Venkateshwar International School, along with Ravikant Sharma, Dr. Sarika Chaudhary, and Sandhya Singh, honoured eminent personalities for their notable contributions in the fields of education, healthcare, media and social service. The programme was efficiently anchored by Ritu. On this occasion, participants also reaffirmed their commitment to promoting yoga among the masses as the foundation of a healthy, balanced and positive lifestyle.
