Himmat Singhwal’s Birthday Celebrated with Joy on Teachers’ Day

Champawat (Uttarakhand), September 5, 2025. On the auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day, the students of Maa Bhagwati Computer Coaching joyfully celebrated the birthday of their institute’s director, Himmat Singhwal. On this sacred occasion, Himmat offered prayers at Maa Varahi Dham and extended warm wishes to the children on Teachers’ Day. He also enlightened the students about the lectures and contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

The students of the coaching institute wished their teacher on his birthday and shared thoughts on the significance of the Guru–Shishya (teacher–student) tradition. It is noteworthy that despite being differently-abled, Himmat has been running his coaching center and a Divyang Service Center for the past five years, empowering children with skills and guiding them towards self-reliance.

On this occasion, social worker Satish Chandra Pandey and Raju Gadkoti from Lohaghat, Vikas Bhagat from Haldwani, Prem Ballabh Bhatt (Chairman of Red Cross Committee, Champawat), Madan Singh Bora (Founder of Kanda Village Valley), Journalist-Author S.S. Dogra, Devendra Geharwal, and mathematics lecturers Shankar Singh Bora and Leelambar Bisht from Government Inter College, Dholigaon, conveyed their heartfelt greetings to Himmat.

It is worth mentioning that on December 3, 2022, Himmat was honored with the Divyang State Award by the Government of Uttarakhand for self-employment.
