JM International School, Dwarka-6 held two inter house competitions; African Dance & Greeting Styles as a regular practice of International School Work.
Ms Simmi Kher, India Coordinator, Tony Blair’s Face to Faith Foundation & also Educational Consultant, was the revered judge of African Dance Competition. Colourful & breath taking dance forms of Africa by the students left every one tapping their feet. The esteemed judge appreciated the electric presentation of different houses saying “It was treat for eyes”.
Dramatization of a skit based on the theme “Different styles of greetings form across the world” was showcased to International delegate Le Thi Thu, who belongs to Vietnam. Various ways of greetings in different states of India as well as of Countries; France, Japan, Portugal, Spain were efficiently illustrated. In vision of the judge, it was a very fine activity to help students gain information of traditions of greeting across the world in easy way. Tagore House was the proud winner of both the competitions.
Both the ISA inter house competition served the opportunities to compare culture & exchange knowledge at national & international level.
