JM International School, New Delhi, hosted a Commerce Meet for class XII Commerce students from various schools of Dwarka, on 2nd September, 2015. The aim of the convention was to orient students about the several career options available for them post school.

The meet commenced with apprising the guest schools and speakers about the International School Award won by JM International, conferred by the British Council, for the year 2015-18. This, coupled with a presentation on Infinity Chocolate Products, a brand developed and run by the students under the School Enterprise Challenge (under the aegis of the British Council), won the pupils of JMIS great appreciation from one and all.

Some of the most reputed schools from Dwarka participated in the meet and were enchanted with what the experts had to share.

Amongst the distinguished speakers for the day, were Mr. Jitin Chawla, the Director of the Center for Career Development, Mr. Vineet from SmartPrep, Mr. S. Dey, from the International Institute of Hotel Management, and Ms. Rekha, the academic Head at AFA.

While Mr. Jitin Chawla and Mr. Vineet shared extensive information about the plethora of colleges and courses where students can apply after class XIIth, Mr. Dey and Mr. Rekha shared their expertise on Hotel Management and Designing, respectively, as future vocations for students.

It was an enriching experience for students, where they could openly discuss their queries and doubts regarding the occupation they wish to pursue in future.
