Manipal Hospital in association with Dwarka Forum organized a Health Talk on 10th Sept 2022, covering Cancer Awareness, basic symptoms & prevention, Uterus cervical cancer & Robotics Surgeries.
Dr. Shubham Jain (HOD & Consultant, Surgical Oncology), a renowned Surgical Oncologist, explained basic symptoms, prevention, and basic tests needed to keep away from Cancer. He also talked about the Paradigm shift in management of cancer – Improvement in survival outcomes, attempt for organ preservation, focus on providing Quality of Life to patients, attempt to de-escalate treatment in favorable disease profile, Target to reduce treatment related side effects.
Dr. Bijoy Nayak (HOD – Minimal Access & Robotic Gynecologic Surgeries), backed with 35 years of experience, explained for Cancer Surgeries with Robotic technology, further he added that Manipal hospital Dwarka is one of the very few hospitals in India equipped with Robotic Surgery lab 4th Generation. He also talked for basic symptoms, preventions, and latest available treatment for Cervical & Uterus cancer.
Chief Guest, ACP, Dwarka, Mr. M.L. Meena, thanked Dwarka forum and Manipal hospital team for arranging this health session. He explained for the actions (awareness sessions, increased night patrolling etc.) done by Dwarka Police teams. He emphasized that our health, safety and security are interlinked.
Guest of honor, SHO, Dwarka South PS, Mr. Ashish Dubey briefed about the security audit to be carried out for Dwarka Societies & RWAs. He confirmed that the modalities are being worked out, suggestions have been requested to Dwarka Residents, self-assessment forms have been filled and available. Further, after synchronizing all available details, a meeting will be invited for all 11 Security committees to begin physical verification.
The session was a big attraction and large numbers of Dwarka residents joined this session. The session was an interactive session, most of participants raised queries and very well addressed by ACP Dwarka, Mr. M.L. Meena, SHO Dwarka South, Shri Ashish Dubey, and Manipal team Dr. Shubham Jain and Dr. Bijoy Nayak.
