MBS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PARTICIPATED IN AN INTER FAITH PRAYER MEET

“Consciousness is only possible through change; change is only possible through movement.”

At MBS International school, we do not create ‘mere’ responsible citizens but ’empowered’ citizens. Serving the purpose, measures are taken to extend opportunities to our students for full, effective and constructive participation in society.

The school brimmed with pride when it got a momentous opportunity to participate in An Inter Faith Prayer Meeting organized by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti on 2nd October, 2018 at Gandhi Smriti, 5, Tees January Marg, New Delhi. The event witnessed spirited and enthused participation of the eleven students, escorted by our teachers, Ms. Seema Wadhawan and Ms. Megha.

The School choir, comprising eleven students, was provided with once-in-a-lifetime to perform live in the presence of Honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Days of vigorous rehearsals culminated in the melodious and heart touching rendition of bhajans and prayers, a befitting homage to truth and reaffirmation of the fact that non-violence was the only answer to all the violence around us.

The organizers resonated profound gratefulness for the stirring and unforgettable experience as the nation joined in unison to celebrate the 149th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and International Day of Non-violence.
